When I was 9 years old my dad took me to see a WWE match at Madison Square Garden. We had a great time, but what really stuck in my mind was seeing all of the homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk surrounding Madison Square Garden. I had never seen a homeless family before and when I asked my dad why they were sleeping on the streets he told me it was because they had no place to live. I asked him where they ate, and he told me they had no food to eat. It was then when I asked my dad what I can do to help. My dad suggested I save my allowance and for Thanksgiving we can find families in need and feed them a Thanksgiving meal. And I did just that. The whole year went by and I managed to save around $200 dollars. My dad reached out to a Pastor who gave us 8 names of families who would not have any money to afford a Thanksgiving dinner. That year, we fed all 8 families and would be the beginning of my mission; to feed as many people we can each Thanksgiving. Every penny counts, whether you donate a dollar or whatever you can afford, know that your donations are going directly to feeding a family this coming Thanksgiving. Thank you so much!
